The euro is listed and traded on the currency market since 1999. The single European currency has become, in just over a decade, a reference currency globally. After gradually, but surely valued compared to other major currencies planets, she recorded nearly two years since a serious crisis of confidence.
However, we can note some interesting paradoxes. The current crisis is ultimately less inherent to the money itself and more to the long-term management of the budgets of most states in the euro area. The single European currency doing only reflect the image of mismanagement of public finances even before the creation of the euro.
